Participants at Federation of Medical Regulatory Authorities of Canada (FMRAC) events (virtual or in-person) are expected to be aware of and adhere to this Code of Conduct. FMRAC aims to ensure a harassment-free experience for all participants, attendees, speakers and volunteers at its events.

In the case of harassment
Participants who are asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.
If a participant engages in harassing behavior, FMRAC may take any action deemed appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the activity or the event (with no refund).
Being under the influence of a mood-altering substance such as alcohol or cannabis does not abrogate a participant’s obligation to adhere to this Code of Conduct.
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please advise the individual to stop the inappropriate behaviour and then contact a member of FMRAC staff immediately. Where warranted, FMRAC staff will help participants contact hotel/venue security or local law enforcement, provide escorts, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the event.
