Physicians and Public Statements (28 January 2021)
Physicians hold a unique position of trust with the public. They must not make comments or provide advice that encourage the public to act contrary to public health orders and recommendations. Physicians must be guided by the laws, code of ethics and professional conduct, or regulatory standards when offering these opinions.

Les médecins jouissent d’une relation de confiance unique avec le public. Ils ne doivent pas formuler de commentaires ou prodiguer des conseils qui encouragent le public à agir à l’encontre des ordonnances et recommandations de la santé publique. Les médecins doivent être guidés par des lois, un code de déontologie et d’éthique professionnelle ou des normes réglementaires lorsqu’ils offrent ces opinions.
