2020 Graduating Cohort

The Federation of Medical Regulatory Authorities of Canada (FMRAC) has confirmed with the 13 provincial and territorial medical regulatory authorities that so-called “COVID-19” licenses (provisional, temporary or restricted depending on the jurisdiction) for the 2020 cohort will be extended now that the February 2021 offering was cancelled.

2021 Graduating Cohort

FMRAC has confirmed that, if members of the 2021 graduating cohort are unable to take the MCCQE Part II in a timely manner because it is not being offered or because it is over-subscribed in the winter or spring of 2021, all provincial MRAs will provide qualifying candidates with a similar type of license as they did for the 2020 cohort.
