Highlights of the Board of Directors face-to-face meeting on 6 February 2019:
- approval of a new Framework on Telemedicine which proposes minimum regulatory standards and makes recommendations to the MRAs; aims to promote pan-Canadian consistency
- approval of a new working group on Artificial Intelligence and the Practice of Medicine, to be chaired by Dr. Scott McLeod (Registrar, CPSA).
- continued work on two forms of licensure: the FMRAC Fast Track License Agreement and FMRAC’s Portability Agreement.
The next face-to-face Board meeting will take place on Friday, 7 June 2019, in Whistler, BC.
